Terms & Conditions of Hire

“We”, “Us”, “Our”: CrimsonCraft Audio, located at Unit D3, Rudford Industrial Estate, Ford, BN18 0BD

“You”, “Your”, “The Hirer”: The person or organization named on the Invoice & Hire Agreement.

“Equipment”, “The Equipment”: The Items listed on the Invoice.


By signing the Hire Agreement You are entering into a legal contract with Us and confirming that You accept and agree to the Security Procedure as well as Our Terms and Conditions:


Security Procedure:
  1. A Valid Photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence must be presented to Us, with the address matching the Hirer’s Address provided on the Hire Agreement.

  2. A Security Deposit of minimum £200 is due before the start of the Hire Period, to be refunded on return of all hired Equipment in its delivered condition.

  3. We reserve the right to perform a routine background check, comparing Your name and address to a national database.

  4. Your information will not be shared with anyone else, and is protected under the Data Protection Act of 1998 and the GDPR.


Terms and Conditions:
  1. You agree to pay Us the remaining amount of the balance due and security deposit before the start of the hire period.

  2. The Equipment will be returned to Us in its delivered condition, by the end of the hire period.

  3. We will return the security deposit to You in full provided that The Equipment is returned to us in the same condition as at the start of the hire period.

  4. We will allow for fair wear and tear when assessing damage to the hired items and any damage considered reasonable wear and tear will not be charged to You.

  5. You will use The Equipment only for its specified use, safely and legally.

  6. Any fines as a result of illegal or unsafe use of The Equipment will be incurred by The Hirer.

  7. If any Equipment is not returned to Us by the end of the hire period You may be charged for the continued hire of the hired items at our published hire rates until The Equipment is returned to Us.

  8. If any Equipment is not returned to Us within 7 days of the end of the hire period You agree to pay the full cost of replacement of The Equipment within 14 days of the hire period.

  9. If any loss or damage (excluding reasonable wear and tear) occurs to The Equipment between its receipt by The Hirer and its return to Us, You may lose some or all of your damage deposit.

  10. If the cost of repairing or replacing damaged, lost or stolen equipment exceeds the amount of the security deposit, We may invoice The Hirer to cover the costs, providing receipts for any and all of these costs.

  11. We reserve the right to keep the deposit* if any of the terms & conditions of this Hire Agreement are broken.

  12. The Hirer shall be responsible to CrimsonCraft for:

(a) all costs and expenses in respect of: rectifying any damage to The Equipment (fair wear and tear excepted) which occurred during the period in which the Equipment was at the Hirer’s risk. Such costs and expenses shall be confirmed to the Hirer by CrimsonCraft, subject to supporting documentation.

(b) the Replacement Cost in respect of lost or stolen Equipment and/or Equipment which is beyond economic repair.
